Buy the Children’s Portree Pinafore sewing pattern from Greyfriars and Grace. The Portree Pinafore is a simple design so go crazy on the fabric! Great for fabulous print cottons or heavier wool/cotton fabric to be worn with a turtleneck/jumper in the winter. The dress is fully lined so you don’t have to worry about finishing any seams – nice and neat and tidy. Portree has no zipper (goes over the head or step in) and closes with two buttons on the shoulder straps.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Wool, cotton, linen or cotton/linen blend fabric for dress and lining.

Fabric requirements: Fabric requirements are for non-directional prints. If you need to pattern match, you may need more fabric.

44″ (115 cm) or 54″ (140 cm) wide fabric: 1 – 1 1/4 yd (1 – 1.25 m) for each of main fabric and lining.

60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 – 1 1/4 yd (0.5 – 1.25 m) for each of main fabric and lining.

Sizing: 2 – 9 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 2 buttons/snaps.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (12 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
