Butterick Misses’ Wrap Dresses B6554

Bought this pattern for a dress to go to a friend’s wedding. I liked the raglan style sleeve and the different options for the ruffles. I had to do my usual adjustments, 3cm longer in the bodice (I’m 5 ft 10) I usually also add 5cm to the skirt length but I didn’t with this as it came up midi length on me. I French seamed everything as well as my fabric was quite draped. The fact that it is a wrap dress means there is some adjustment available by how tightly / loosely you tie it. I did the view with the ruffled skirt and sleeves but I also added the ruffles on the bodice. It’s a great pattern, it went together very well, perfect for an occasion dress. I’m going to make another this time the halter neck version.
