Buy the Bertie Shift Dress sewing pattern from Liberty Sewing Patterns. Bertie is a loose-fitting dress with sleeves gathered into cuffs and a back zip. Style A has a stand-up collar with trim, while style B has a round neckline finished with purchased bias tape.

B: 45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/8 – 2 7/8 yd (2.2 – 2.7 m) // 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 7/8 – 2 1/4 yd (1.8 – 2.1 m).

Lining A, B: 45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (0.5 m).

Sizing: 6 – 22 (approx. UK 4/6 – 18/20). Please check the size chart.

Notions: 7″ (18 cm) zip; two 1/2″ (13 mm) buttons // A: 7/8 yd (0.8 m) of 18″ – 20″ (46 – 51 cm) fusible interfacing; 3/4 yd (0.7 m) of 2″ (5 cm) trim; two hooks and eyes // B: 1/2 yd (0.5 m) of 18″ – 20″ (46 – 51 cm) fusible interfacing; 3/4 yd (0.7 m) of 1/2″ (1.3 cm) single fold bias tape; hook and eye.
