Buy the Belgravia Knit Dress sewing pattern from Liesl + Co. This elegant knit dress features an interesting and deceptively uncomplicated wrap detail as well as a simple set-in sleeve, a very easy to sew V neck, and a front-slit skirt. The dress comes together quickly and is extremely comfortable to wear. View A includes a short cap sleeve and front ties, while View B features long sleeves and longer ties that wrap around the body before tying in front. This dress can be sewn from ponte for an office-worthy or cocktail dress or from jersey or French terry for a more casual everyday dress.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PAPER (next working day dispatch on orders and FREE UK delivery over £50). This option is only available for sizes 0 – 20 (because the designer currently only prints this pattern in paper format for sizes 0 – 20). If you would like to purchase sizes 16 – 30, please select the copy shop option.

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: This pattern works best with light- to medium-weight knit fabrics like jersey, ponte di Roma, interlock, and French terry.

View A: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 – 3 yd (1.6 – 2.7 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 – 2 yd (1.6 – 1.8 m).

View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 – 3 3/4 yd (2.3 – 3.4 m)  // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 – 2 3/4 yd (1.6 – 2.5 m).

Sizes 16 – 30

View A: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 1/2 – 3 3/4 yd (3.2 – 3.4 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 2 – 3 1/2 yd (1.8 – 3.2 m).

View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 3/4 – 5 1/4 yd (3.4 – 4.8 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 – 4 yd (2.5 – 3.7 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 20) or US 16 – 30 (approx. UK 18/20 – 32). Please check the size charts and finished garment measurements.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. In the 16-30 size range, the shoulders and neckline have been re-proportioned to be a little narrower, there is more room through the bust with a larger bust dart, and the waist and hips have been increased to better suit an apple or pear shape.

This pattern is a layered PDF so you can print only the size(s) you need.
