Buy the Amina Hoodie sewing pattern from Vikisews. Amina is an oversized loose-fit hoodie with a straight silhouette. The front features vertical design lines with built-in pockets. The hoodie has a dropped shoulder and long sleeves with two decorative seams. The bottom of the sleeve is finished with a cuff. The hood is voluminous with a centre seam and overlapping ends at the front neckline. The hood has a channel for a strip of twill tape threaded through machine-sewn buttonholes. The bottom hem of the garment is finished with a band. The hoodie is below hip length.

Suggested fabrics: Sweatshirt fleece, double knit (heavy or medium weight), bulky knit fabrics.

Rib knits are recommended for the waistband and cuffs.

The hoodies in the photos are made with sweatshirt fleece fabric. This fabric is medium weight, soft and has very little stretch. The fibre content is a blend of viscose, polyester and elastane. The waistband and cuffs are made out of ribbing.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 180 cm wide fabric: 1.46 - 1.7 m // 160 cm wide fabric: 1.5 - 2.06 m.

Additional (waistband and cuffs): 120 cm wide fabric: 0.3 m.

Sizing: S/M (34 - 42) or L/XL (44 - 52) (approx. UK 6 - 12 or UK 14 - 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The PDF pattern includes 4 height options:

Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′)
