THE SEW DOWN: JULY 21

THE SEW DOWN: JULY 21
Kate Underdown

Welcome to The Sew Down where each month we bring you a run down of some of the interesting stuff we have found, bought, read and watched in the world of sewing.

New Designers:

We’ve added two fantastic new designers over the past month. First up we’ve got Birgitta Helmersson who’s zero waste sewing patterns are going to save you from adding more leftover fabric to your stash. There are five fantastic patterns to choose from, two of which are unisex. They have a simple boxy aestetic and the main worry is which to make first! Next Up we’ve got an indie designer that has been around for a while but we’ve just added them to our shop. Paprika patterns are one of the original indie designers. They have re-released three of their patterns in an extended size range (UK 6-30) and have plans to release more so watch this space…

 Stuff to read:

We are always hunting out good articles to read or a book that you can either read or listen to while you are sewing. We’ve got some fantastic things to get your teeth stuck into this month.

 Stuff to listen to:

Oh we love a podcast, and are always looking for new ones! These are some fantastic things we have listened to this month and think you’ll love too.

Stuff to Watch:

If you like watching TV while you sew then we’ve got some great suggestions for you.
