Zooey Bikini Bottoms

I really like the style of this bikini, it’s retro-inspired and super cute. I’m a big fan of the contrasting colors in this pattern, and love the look in general.

The Zooey Bikini Bottom was pretty easy to make, though I do have a bit of lingerie-sewing experience. I had to take it in a bit, since my hip measurements can be a bit misleading when it comes to making lingerie. Next time, I might make a size smaller. Alternately, I’m thinking about different patterns I could swap in with the top pattern.

This is a good pattern. I really like that it doesn’t feel/look homemade. I imagine I might use it again since it’s so much fun not worrying about someone else at the pool having the same suit as me. Also, there are so many ways to play around with this and customize. Now maybe I’ll be a little less pale this summer! 🙂
