Rory Top review

The Rory top is a great pattern if you want a t-shirt that’s nice and simple to make, but at the same time has a bit more interest than a basic tee.
The instructions are thorough and clear, and I didn’t have any trouble at all during the sewing process.
In terms of sizing, my measurements put me in a 10 at the bust and 12 at the waist and that’s the size I made. I’m pretty happy with the fit, although if I make this again I might make a straight size 10 bodice and just gather that into a size 12 waist band so there’s a bit less blousing in the bodice. I’m about 5’9″ and I lengthened the top by half an inch (I widened the waist band by an inch, but it’s folded in half so the top itself is just half an inch longer).
