Vogue vintage dress 9000

This is my second V9000 dress. I have to admit that I had forgotten that the pattern instructions are a little bit confusing. Especially when attaching the collar. However, this remains to be one of my favorite dress patterns.

This time I made my dress with this gorgeous fabric from Lisa Comfort’s fabric collection. This was just the perfect weight cotton for a shirt dress.

It took me one and half days to make this dress. Since it has a side zipper and buttonholes as well as collar, it takes some patience to get all the details in place. However, I think it is well worth the effort. I enjoyed the sewing process a lot and can’t wait to see a little bit warmer weather to arrive so that I can start wearing my lovely new spring dress.
