The purple one

So in love with this pattern, it’s the ultimate smock pattern for heavier fabrics. I used 8oz denim and it’s perfect. I did make some adjustments to the shoulders slightly and I think on my next version I will do another slight adjustment, the pattern is slightly dropped shoulders but it think it’s dropped a little too much. It’s very loose fitting and also the waist is slightly dropped so keep that in mind when you fitting it. Also the pockets! They are huge and perfect for my phone, several snacks, some scissors and sewing supplies!

You could definitely use a nice corduroy or even canvas for this pattern. I’d love one in a patterned canvas and I think that’s what I’m going to go and plan now!
