The Perfect Sweatshirt

I didn’t see what everyone was raving about until I bought the pattern during the 20% off Black Friday sale. It has the perfect shaping: a wide body, narrow long sleeves and a deep scoop neckline. I added 2″ to the sleeves just out of habit but won’t need to for future sews. I am normally a size 4 but sewed the size 6 – because I wanted a roomy fit and I think this is the perfect size for me (32″ bust). I used a herringbone French terry from Fabric.com. It moults white fuzz like a mofo but stabilizes after serging the seams. My first attempt, I used the French terry for the ribbing but it didn’t look good at all. Replaced it with proper black rib. I want to make this in every colour, including the baseball tee version. Highly recommended.
