The only jumpsuit pattern I’ll ever need!

A review of The Modern Sewing Co. Jesse Jumpsuit

Honestly, this jumpsuit is – *chefs kiss* – perfection. This was meant to be my wearable toile. I never expected it to fit this good on the first try, but thanks so the instructions I knew I needed to remove a total of 8 cm length (divided equally between bodice and rise). Based on the measurement chart, I made size 14 graded to 16 at the waist and 18 at the hips. This resulted in a jumpsuit that is a perfect balance between classy and utilitarian, room to move and looking sophisticated. I chose the zipper variation. Only thing I am not sure about: no zipper guard! But this is an easy thing to add later on if it bothers me. I used a mystery fabric from my stash, but it might be a mix between linen/viscose/cotton. Next time I will make it in corduroy! I didn’t do any topstitching and used bias binding to finish most seams, except shoulders and sleeves.
