Buy the Jesse Jumpsuit sewing pattern from The Modern Sewing Co. This all-in-one outfit provides true comfort, style and casual charm. The cut is relaxed but not oversized. The design includes hints of tailoring – such as the collar, lapels and welt pocket – along with practical features such as a roomy trouser, long sleeves, deep side pockets and a comfortable elasticated waistband. There is also the option to add more topstitching for a workwear look. Helping to minimise wardrobe decisions in the morning, Jesse gives you everything you need in an outfit that’s suitable for all year round.

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: The waistband piece has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Light/medium weight denim, light/medium weight twill, lightweight canvas, needlecord, wool suiting, linen (note linen will crease).

Fabric requirements: 

150 cm wide fabric: Sizes 4 – 12, 250 cm // Sizes 14 – 20, 290 cm // Sizes 22 – 28, 310 cm.

110 cm wide fabric: Sizes 4 – 12, 340 cm // Sizes 14 – 20, 350 cm // Sizes 22 – 28, 420 cm.

Sizing: UK 4 – 28 (approx. UK 4/6 – 26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a height of 5’8″ and a cup size ‘C’.

Notions: Thread; 80 cm of iron-on fusing; 3 cm wide elastic (see chart); four 15 mm buttons OR one 16-18 cm closed-end zip + three 15 mm buttons // Optional: The pattern uses self (main) fabric for the pocket bags and waistband. If you’d prefer to use a lighter weight cotton, you’ll need a small square of fabric to fit the pocket pieces and a long narrow strip for the waistband.
