Tabitha T-Shirt

This was my first make from Tilly’s new book Make it Simple and I am so pleased!  The book as a whole has some excellent patterns and I was itching to get stitching something as I had this brilliant Tilly and the Buttons rainbow jersey in my stash I thought this would be perfect.

The Tabitha T-shirt is a comfy t-shirt that can be made with either short sleeves, long sleeves or 3/4 sleeves so it could cover every season.  I opted for short sleeves as we are heading towards warmer weather.  The T-shirt itself is a relaxed fit, not too baggy so its unflattering but still lose enough not to feel uncomfortable.  Again I thought this would be perfect for warmer weather as the last thing you want in the summer are clingy clothes!!

The instructions were lovely and clear and the high quality I expect from Tilly – the step by step pictures were very helpful too.  I only had to make adjustments to the length as I am quite tall but nothing else was needed.

Basically I love this t-shirt and already have 2 more cut out ready to sew! Well done Tilly. 🙂
