Southbank Sweater and Sweater Dress review

This was my first Southbank, and I love it. It’s such a quick, easy pattern to make up.

The fabric was a cotton sweatshirt fabric I had seen online last year, but it was sold out and I was so pleased to find it at The Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace. I have just enough left to make my sister a cropped sweater version! I was not initially sure I wanted to go with the turtleneck, but I am glad I did now as it adds to its cosiness. I had seen other posts that commented that the pocket placement was low, so I placed these slightly higher up, but this did result in the hips being a bit exaggerated.
