Snuggliest jumper EVER!

A review of Nina Lee Southbank Sweater & Sweater Dress

This is a lovely simple pattern and really quick to put together – so much so that I made my first version at the Sewing Weekender and managed not to get distracted in a room full of excitable sewists!

I’ve made two versions now: one in fleece-backed sweatshirting and this one in lighter weight organic cotton Abstoffe jersey (from Sew Me Sunshine), which I think works better with the pattern. For this version, I re-drew the hem to sit halfway between the cropped and hip-length top versions. I also replaced the sleeve cuff pieces with Albstoffe cuffing and added a strip of this to the hem.

It’s a great pattern and the fit is spot on. The neck is comfy without feeling quite as restrictive as a tighter turtleneck. I’m yet to make the cropped jumper or dress versions but I’m sure I will at some point!
