I really enjoyed making this – from start to finish it took about 4 hours, making it a very satisfying Sunday Sew.
The collar was a challenge, I didn’t understand what the instructions meant to do and I was puzzled for a while!! I may have skipped a step and stitched in the ditch when I wasn’t meant to??
Overall, this blouse is not perfect but it’s not awful for my first attempt! ? I sized down from a L to M, which I am glad I did – L would have been a little too oversized for me. That said, I am a fan of boxy, loose shape and sleeves – it is so comfy!
This fabric brings cheer and happy vibes, just what I need in my wardrobe to inspire me for brighter, sunnier days ahead. The fabric is so light and floaty, I imagine it will be perfect for long hot summer days in the office work and evening picnics. Also, it will go with anything denim and even if it’s cloudy, this will definitely brighten the day ? ? ☀️?
