I didnt think I was going to like or suit this pattern – the idea of a t-shirt made from woven non-sretch just seemed crazy – as I’m a lover of comfort. How wrong was I!!
Far from being baggy and boxy, uncomfortable and restrictive – this is by far the best shirt I’ve ever made! Its so well drafted, fits close to the body, hangs beautifully and even better – the neck doesnt gape at all.
I used Cotton + Steel Midnight Gusy Zephyr fabric after seein a similar version on Instagram. I’m a UK 12 – according to the instructions I cut an 8 at shoulders and bust graded to 10 at waist and 12 at the hip. Fit right away based on those 🙂 The only thing I altered was to lengthen both pieces by 2″ just because I like a longer tee generally.
