Sagebrush with a few hacks

I really love this pattern after initial reservations. I saw some great versions on The Fold Line and Instagram and was converted.

It’s a loose fit so that meant I didn’t need to grade between sizes. I cut a straight small.

I did take some length off the bodice but be wary that the hem is 4″ long before you take your scissors to the pattern.

Instead of ties, I made a rouleau loop and button fastening. It means my hair doesn’t get tangled up and is a great way to use up odd buttons!

I also added some piping to the front yoke which I LOVE! I think it pops out the ruffle on this fabric.
