Rowan bodysuit and tee

I have a small collection of rowans with high necks and long sleeves in coloured merino wool knit (which is fairly cheap and readily available in New Zealand). It’s a great close fitting pattern with enough room in the bust and yet small enough around my narrow shoulders. If you have broad shoulders or a small bust then you may need to adjust the pattern depending on the stretch of your knit fabric.

The pattern also has a lot of style variations which makes it good value for money. It’s my favourite basic fitted top pattern. Merino is ideal because it keeps you warm in the cold and cool in the heat. I usually wear them as layering pieces.
