Perfect for playing with stripes!

This is another fantastic pattern from French Navy – it is well drafted and the instructions are very good, so it would be a suitable project for a confident beginner or a more intermediate sewist. I made my dress in the size XS, which is the equivalent of a UK 8 and I didn’t make any alterations to the pattern – I am really pleased with the relaxed fit. I chose to make this pattern because of the opportunities to play with the directions of the fabric in the different bodice, skirt and pocket panels – it has worked perfectly with the striped linen I used, which is from Merchant and Mills.
