This is a really great pattern for confident beginners who are looking for a dungaree dress that is more fitted than something like the Cleo. I used mustard denim and some printed quilting cotton for the lining.
The instructions were really easy to follow, although I did have trouble working out which way up to cut the button band and facing and had to make these twice! I made a size 8 with a B cup bib and made no alterations. For my next version (some nice bright pink denim for the summer) I will make the C cup bib, as I think the B looks a bit small.
My finished pinafore is exactly how I envisaged it and I really like the fit – I think it’s very flattering as it offers definition at the waist and a nice A-line skirt. I definitely recommend giving it a go!
