Perfect Christmas dress

I really love this dress. It took a bit of tweaking to get the fit right, and there’s an additional change I will make on my next one but it was worth the toiles.

I cut a C for the bodice and D for the skirt.

I added in-seam pockets as well, using a pattern piece from another dress.

I had to do two full bicep adjustments on the sleeve. I often have to do this adjustment but my usual addition wasn’t enough. My advice would be to check the sleeve width if you’re unsure.

Aside from that, it’s a great pattern and I hope to make again. I think it’s a dress that will carry over multiple seasons, which is always a bonus!
