This is such a great pattern and so easy to make. It’s a really stash buster. The pattern suggests 1m25 or 1m75 depending on the width but I have made it from a lot less. To eek one out of a small amount of leftover fabric, I’ve used another fabric for the facings and cut the back in two pieces and made a centre back seam.

The pattern is really quick to make. Once you have the pattern printed, you could easily cut and make up one up in an hour or so.

I have made six so far using Liberty Tana lawn, viscose and silk, and all work well. The instructions are very clear. The only part that a beginner might have trouble with is the insertions of the straps but True Bias has a tutorial on the site which explains this. The only adjustment I made was to lengthen the facing by 5cm so it hangs under my bust and doesn’t show a line across the bust.
