Nostalgic cardie

When I spotted this pattern, it took me back to approx. aged 3 in a ballet class. I knew I wanted to recreate the look!

Guthrie Ghani had some kitten-soft pink loopback jersey to complete the look.

I made the full wrap version for maximum ballet-compatibility! I graded from an XS at the bust to S at the waist because I don’t wear a bra under my leotard.

The waistband was a bit fiddly to get right but perseverance paid off. I think I should have been more forceful with the neckband stretching as it sticks up a bit. Live and learn!

Overall, a really cute top that I’m pleased I have space for in my wardrobe 🙂
