Nina Lee Kew top and skirt
A review of Nina Lee Kew Dress and Skirt
All I can say after making this pattern is I can’t believe it took me so long! I have now made it as a crop top twice and a skirt once.
My first crop top version was a straight size 10 which I’m honestly not sure why I cut it out as I measure a 12. I can only presume I cut out the wrong size. I’d started it well over a year ago, tried it on and sulked when it didn’t fit so threw it in the naughty pile. Trust me when I say if you’re between sizes do not size down with this pattern as it is fitted. I took out all the seams I could and managed to get it to fit fairly well.
For my second version I made the following adjustments using the By Hand London bodice alteration ebook for guidance:
- 1.5cm full bust adjustment
- 1cm narrow neck adjustment
- 1cm armhole lowering adjustment
