New Favourite – Zadie Jumpsuit

A review of Paper Theory Patterns Zadie Jumpsuit

I have made this jumpsuit twice now and I love it! And I have plans for a couple more now, including a shorts version.

My measurements just put me into a size 16, but based off other reviews I decided for my wearable toile I would cut a straight size 12 using a polycotton remnant. I was so chuffed because even thought I’m a 34FF bra cup I didn’t need to do an FBA! The crotch was too low after initially basting together, so I took 1 inch off the top of the trousers and that made all the difference.

Pictured is the second version, made in a gorgeous purple linen from a local Edinburgh fabric store. I adjusted the pattern to take an inch out of the rise and it’s pretty much perfect this time! The perfect secret pyjamas, lovely to wear in this hot weather but still feel pretty put together. I’m in love with the size of the pockets, I can fit pretty much everything in them.

This is the first Me Made that people have started complimenting me one and asking where I bought it, which makes me feel like I’ve really improved in my sewing! Worth the time taken making those metres of binding for the neckline edge.
