My First Blackwood Cardigan

The Blackwood cardigan is worthy of the hype! It’s fun to sew and wear. I think it’s a great project for a sewist new to knits, and there’s enough going on to satisfy an experienced seamstress.

I love how the edges are finished with bands, and I especially adore the extra-long sleeves. This particular cardi is made with Merino wool, and I vigorously endorse this fabric for the Blackwood.
