Inari Tee Dress & Top

Sometimes it takes longer than expected to simply take the next step. I finally decided to sew for myself. Somehow, I don’t know why (or maybe I do), I’m always at the bottom of my priorities. But when you get to put your hands on that perfect fabric the world turns upside down! I received another order of fabrics with this lovely fabric in it (I must say, absolutely beautiful and incredible soft – the quality really is awesome!!!). It belongs to the Black and White collection of Cotton and Steel by Rashida Coleman-Hale. It only took me 5 minutes to decide I wanted it for myself (I know, why did it took so long?!!) and imagine it turned into a blouse. Launched the idea on my IG and Diana (from Miss Castelinhos) suggested me to do an Inari Tee from Named Clothing (thank you sooooo much Diana!!). Love at first sight.
Instructions are easy to follow and the piece was quite simple and fast to complete. I hacked the pattern a bit, made it 6 cm longer than the original, for a more casual wear. It turned out perfect. I’m so in love with it. It perfectly matches my jeans and skirts. And I’ll be able to use it throughout summer and winter. I already made me another tee and a beautiful dress for my mother.
