I found my perfect tee pattern!

I struggle with t shirts as I have a D cup (sewing) bust and so they’re often too tight. The tee is a gender inclusive pattern and so has ease of up to 4 inches – perfect for me. I shortened the length (details in blog post linked below) but otherwise made no adjustments.

As always with Helen’s Closet patterns the instructions are really detailed and well written too. I love that this is a fast sew for me but could be a lovely first project for a new sewist (or new to working with knits).

I love it, and live in it ? the fabric is a lovely cotton jersey that’s just a little heavier than a normal t shirt weight, so has been perfect for layering I winter and now as the weather gets warmer will be nice to wear as a single layer.

As for the pattern, I’ll definitely be making more – for me and my husband. I’ve already made a tee for him – he is much taller than me with broad shoulders, and it fit him well too with some basic adjustments. He just won’t let me take a photo yet but sure I’ll convince him ? I’ve plans for a jumper for him and another tee for me. I found my perfect tee pattern!
