I hacked the Jutland pattern to create these shortpants. I love them. The pattern was super easy to follow until I got to the fly. The fly gave me some troubles.
I created a casing along the bottom edges, and I inserted drawstrings. I cut them 2″ below the lengthen/shorten line.
I made a size 30 which was a mistake. The hips fit, but the waist is too big, so I need to wear a belt. No matter. I love them
