A review of Victory Patterns Trina Dress and Blouse

The main reason I made this dress is the Fold Line’s Wish List! I put it on there ages ago because I loved the style but didn’t really have an occasion.
Turning 40 provided the occasion & Brenda the printer quickly provided the pattern!
I used a viscose that has the weight of a crepe for my dress.
I made very few modifications, which isn’t what I anticipated with a wrap dress. My toile came up quite roomy so I sized down, I cut the skirt length at the lining length (I’m 5’2″) and shortened the sleeves by 3″.
The bodice construction fascinated me with the front overlapping the back, which creates a hidden gap to pass the wrap tie out of!
