Fun shape – Bob Woven Pant

I’ve had these on my ‘watch lust’ For a while and when I saw this check linen viscose mix I decided to go for it.

They come up big. I had to alter waistband and elastic to get them to fit. They are meant to be loose and will be great on hot days. There is quite a lot of fabric gathered up in the waistband  I think next time I would consider a flat front and gathered back.

I was surprised that the grain line- obvious on a check isn’t vertical. They look twisted. Im sure it won’t bother me when I’m wearing them.

I also modified the pockets to be slash pockets rather than in seam – as suggested by sewinglikemad. Her detailed review was very helpful. Thank you.
