Dream shorts

I was actually part of the testing process for these jeans. I had been keeping my eye on Anna’s Instagram as I knew she would be releasing a jeans pattern soon and couldn’t wait to give it a try.

I decided to start with the shorts version, firstly as a wearable toile and secondly as it was summer and I wanted shorts. As usual, it was a great pattern and well thought out. It was explained well, and as my first denim project, it was a perfect start.

I used heavyweight denim, which my machine did struggle with at some points. Also after wearing them the denim has stretched a bit at the waistband, I think I just need to gain some experience working with heavier fabrics.

Overall a 10/10 pattern, I can’t wait to make full jeans.
