Cosy cowl – Waves & Wild

Recently I dusted off my sewing machine to make my annual Christmas pyjamas for my grandson and finally the sewing mojo started re appearing!
Keeping it simple and first, a cosy ‘working from home’ sweater in autumn colours.

This is the Cottesloe Cowl by Waves and Wild. Chosen because of the cosy collar that is wide enough not to get covered in make-up and the fact they do a child’s version, which I’ve also made up for my grandson.

You may notice one eyelet. That is because it was meant to have 2 and a drawstring but I dislodged one and there was no going back, so I just sewed up the hole. It’s unnoticeable in the sweater knit.

I made the size small, according to my chest measurement. Next time I would make it a couple of inches shorter.
