Cool summer top

This is the Montavilla top by Sew House Seven . Worn with my Sunshine yellow skirt New Look 6102
For a seemingly simple top it has a couple of interesting features.
The side sections haves elastic threaded through the top casing which gives it shape and keeps it more fitted whilst being able to get into it without any closures.
But the main feature are these ruffles on the shoulder.
I sewed up a size 4 even though my bust measurement recommended a size 6.
It’s a great quick pattern.
