classy, but beware vogue scaling issues

I made up look A, and as usual for Vogue, they scaled the pattern up thoughtlessly, and the side armholes, which have a tricky but elegant inset, bag embarrassingly low beneath the arm in the larger sizes. Make sure if you don’t have full biceps that you take the armhole pattern from a smaller size, and then fill in the difference by extending the side seam up toward the armpit.

But the pattern is classically feminine, and you can use a tiny safety pin to make the V-neck as demure or as daring as you like.
