I have been wanting to make a Nina Lee Bloomsbury Blouse for a while now having seen some beautiful ones online. I love all things ruffly, floral and romantic, so it was only right that I made a flowery version!
I graded between a size 10 on the bust and waist and size 12 on the hips and I’m pleased with the fit. The gorgeous fabric came from Sew By The Sea when we went on a day trip to Margate earlier in the year. It’s a light cotton, slightly heavier than a lawn, but not as heavy as a quilting weight cotton. I would recommend something with a little structure to hold the ruffles and give a bit of drama.
