Belladone Dress

I used a mid-weight cotton (a twill if I’m not mistaken) with a print on the busy side. Instructions were easy, but I made mistakes on two points (not sure if my fault, or the instructions fault): a. The amount of overlap at the back – doing what I thought was instructed I had a really gapy neck b. The direction of the pleats at the skirt front – yup I got them the opposite way. Other than that I’m happy with the fit – I only lowered the bust darts an inch, and the back slit fits as nice on me as on the pictures on the deer and doe website. I cut a size smaller than my measurements (I think I’m between the 42 and 44 and cut the 40). blogged here: https://umacrafterportuguesacomcerteza.wordpress.com/2016/01/26/a-very-poor-show-for-a-handmade-outfit-um-conjunto-feito-por-mim/
