Believe the hype!

I finally gave into the hype of the Wilder gown and am very glad I did!

I made the size M and lengthened the bodice by 2cm which was the right amount for my frame. I made the long sleeve view with one long tier in a smooth crepe from Calico Laine fabrics.

The dress construction was very straightforward but for a while I was convinced the style wouldn’t work for me at all. For anyone else having doubts, I’d say trust the process and wait for your final verdict til the end!

I’m very happy with the result and the dress is very comfortable. For my next Wilder I would like to try a fuller skirt and add waist ties but otherwise would definitely use the bodice again!
