Beautiful Blouse

I haven’t had anywhere near enough time as I would like to sew recently, so am so pleased that I have finished this blouse, it has taken me weeks!

As always, the frill on this pattern attracted me to it! I used a viscose satin and it drapes beautifully, however next time I make this I am going to use a stiffer cotton to make the frills stand out a little more.

This pattern is a great skill builder, with a mandrarin collar and shirt cuffs, which I have never done before! I was a little nervous about the cuffs, but the instructions were clear and taking it a little bit at a time, it was fine!

It found it true to size, I made an XL as always in Fibre Mood and the fit and length were just right.

I am planning on hacking this into a sleeveless dress for summer, in a white textured cotton from my stash.
