Beach Pyjama and Holiday Dress

I bought this pattern at the Knit & Stitch show in Oct 17, with the intention of making a short beach dress. When I got round to choosing fabric, I realised I loved the fabric so much, I wanted to be covered in it – hence changing to the long Beach Pyjamas!!

The pattern is only 2 (or 3) pieces, depending if you have room for the grown on pockets. Therefore it comes together really quickly! As the fabric is Rayon & can fray, I chose to whizz round the cut pieces with my overlocker first. I used a Janome Binder foot, on my sewing machine to attach the binding & create the ties.

The only tricky bit was working out the Cross-over bit in the pattern. Mine might not look exactly like the instructions, on the inside! The finished garment fits perfectly, although I have a short body, so I would recommend making a toile if you have a normal/long body & long legs.
