Autumn Ivy – Jennifer Lauren Handmade

This is my second Ivy Pinafore and I really can’t recommend it enough.  I have been struggling with my sewjo a little lately but this sew definitely re-ignited my enthusiasm.  The pinafore is fully lined but it is an easy sew with excellent instructions. I love the fact that it looks so neat on the inside too.  There are very few pattern pieces so it is a fairly quick make and something that a beginner could tackle. I love the topstiching along the centre front and the yoke fastening can easily be modified if you don’t wish to add buttonholes.  I did add buttonholes but the pinafore easily slips over my head so the front and back yokes could be sewn together.  I have written more details that can be found on my blog post: https://wordpress.com/post/jennylovestosew.wordpress.com/1319
