Autumn. In a dress.

This is my first Indigo dress and I might be hooked!

I added ties in the back added for shaping. I made some of my usual adjustments, which include narrow shoulder adj., raising the armhole and moving bust darts. I’m very happy with the fit I achieved.

The longer length and the ruffle didn’t come from the add-on pack but rather are my own improvisation.

I fully lined the bodice – the pattern comes with a facing but I’m not a fan. The sleeve ruffles are lovely but keep in mind that when you move, the wrong side of the fabric shows. I used french seams in these pieces, so they look neater on the inside.

Overall I highly recommend this pattern, it’s a comfy, easy to wear dress.
