Amazing pattern

I made both versions of Freya; the dress and sweater. The fabric I used is ponte roma that I purchased from Girl Charlee UK. The fabric is 140cm wide, I found 1.5m is enough for the dress.The polyester content in the fabric gives the garments extra warmth.
It took me less than a day to make each garment. The pattern, like most if not all of Tilly’s patterns, is very well-drafted. I didn’t change a thing at all. I made both in straight size 5 (my measurements are 38-30-39) and I love the fit, true to the picture in the book. I’m just over 5’2″ and the hem is just above my knees. The pattern has 2 inches of negative ease on the bust and 1 inch on the waist. I love the A-line skirt, the mock neckband, and the long sleeve – perfect for Autumn/Winter.
