A quick make and a perfect Summer Top

I made this in a lightweight Double Gauze, sizing down two sizes as I didn’t want it as boxy as the pattern intends and I’m really happy with the fit. It is so cool and comfortable to wear. I will make several more, at least one of which will be in another Double Gauze.  I’m also looking forward to trying it in other fabrics though. Next time I will lengthen it by a couple of inches, so it’s easier to do a little French tuck! I’m also thinking of hacking it to a more unisex style (reduce the front V, straighten the back neck which also dips a bit, shorten the sleeves and lengthen the bodice), so my husband can have an equally cool and comfortable Summer top (watch this space on Instagram @annlovingclothesover60). It’s amazing how fast it comes together, so it’s a great ‘palette cleanser’ between more demanding makes.
