A great wardrobe staple!

This is a free pattern, which only has three pieces and would be perfect for someone learning to sew with stretch fabrics or getting to grips with an overlocker.

I used some lovely soft drapey knitted jersey with a pretty marled indigo stripe to make my version of the tee. I only needed 1.5m of the fabric because I made the size 1 (I am a size 8 and didn’t want it to be too over-sized) with no adjustments.

The instructions were clear and really easy to follow – the step-by-step photographs illustrated each stage excellently.

The tee is exactly how I invisaged and I know it is something I will get a lot of wear out of. I will definitely be making more and might try it in a size 2, maybe with a less drapey fabric to get the more boxy silhoutette.

Overall, this is a great pattern and you can’t go wrong because it’s free!
