Perfect for mid-heavyweight cottons

When I first started to sew, I collected a lot of mid/heavyweight cotton because it felt like a safe bet for someone who didn’t really understand fabrics and their properties. Enter the Roma – a really simple pattern that is perfect for this kind of thing.

The shape is easy to sew – it’s effectively a tube. Elastic makes it comfortable to wear. But it still has interesting details with the curved hem and use of bias, and I really enjoy wearing it!
