Buy the Children’s Paradise Playsuit sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. The Paradise Playsuit combines comfort and style. Designed to be made from lightweight knit fabric, it’s just as perfect for climbing trees and doing handstands as it is for parties and smart events.

The Paradise Playsuit is a pull-on style with an elasticated waist and either a cross front or cross back. There are three length options (full length, knee length, and shorts) as well as two sleeve lengths and an optional sleeve flutter. And of course it has pockets!

Suggested fabrics:

Main: Light/medium weight stretch (knit) fabric with a minimum of 50% stretch (ideally the stretch should be 4-way, but 2-way is acceptable).

Neckband: Cotton/Lycra ribbing is best. Cotton/Lycra jersey can be used but you may need to increase the length of your neckband a little to allow for the fact jersey is a more rigid fabric.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: Full length, 100 - 210 cm (1 1/8 - 2 3/8 yd) // Knee length, 80 - 160 cm (7/8 - 1 3/4 yd) // Short length, 80 - 150 cm (7/8 - 1 5/8 yd).

Sizing: 2 – 12 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Elastic, 20 - 25 mm (3/4" - 1") wide.
