Waves & Wild Child Double Trouble Joggers

Buy the Baby/Child Double Trouble Joggers sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. These joggers have a colour blocking option that adds a stylish twist to a staple pattern. There are two waistband options (regular elastic or a double height jersey cuff) and two leg cuff options (regular or double height). The double height cuffs can be worn folded or unfolded and are perfect for children prone to growth spurts, or for little ones in cloth nappies. Diagonal hip pockets and a faux drawstring can also be added.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight, 2- or 4-way stretch knit fabric such as cotton/Lycra french terry or sweatshirt fleece. 10% - 50% stretch is ideal. Cotton/Lycra jersey can also be used but the fit will be a little more relaxed.

Regular cuffs: 2- or 4-way stretch cotton/Lycra jersey or cotton/Lycra ribbing.

Double height cuffs: 4-way stretch cotton/Lycra jersey. For the double height cuffs, it is essential your fabric has great stretch and return.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: Single colour, 30 - 90 cm (1/4 - 1 yd) // Colour blocked (amount required of each of 2 fabrics), 20 - 50 cm (1/4 - 5/8 yd).

Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 12 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Elasticated waist option: Up to 0-3 months, maximum of 40.5 cm (16") of 25 mm (1") wide elastic; 3-6 months - age 2, maximum of 49.5 cm (19 1/2") of 38 mm (1 1/2") wide elastic; ages 3-12: maximum of 62 cm (24 1/2") of 50 mm (2") wide elastic // Optional faux drawstring: Maximum of 30 cm (12") drawstring cord.
